Dear all,

I am working on Transformerless inverter topologies for low power grid connected PV systems.

As a part of this I am gone through various online resources which explains common mode voltages indicating (Vcm=Vao/2+Vbo/2), from a simple H bridge . But I don't get enough understanding what exactly physical meaning of common mode voltage and its significance in a H bridge circuit.( apart from the formula I mentioned)

Please also tell me in what cases this common mode voltage can be held constant , and what cases its not ?

Thanks in advance
