Can Kiessling I mean it is from ThermoFisher and lox-ROX is recommended in the manual.

I understand, but did you try asking this to their technical support, field service specialist and the field application specialist? They have to know the answer to that.

Thanks for your recommend. I tried by myself and it looks like not good idea for using high-ROX premix with Quanstudio 3 machine :))))

I read the manual but I could not find any information regarding the well- shape or the ROX dye?

Soha Hassan We use V-shape 96 well plate and it is recommended to use low-ROX dye for Quantstudio 3 qPCR machine from Thermo.

Sorry, but I would like to ask if it is a must to use 96 well plate from thermo or can I use 96 well plate from any other company. I mean the machine has a specific plate from thermo that should be only used?

We use this Thermo plate (https://www.thermofisher.com/order/catalog/product/kr/en/4346906). However, I do not know if it is fine to use other branches. In general, we use plates from the same company as the machine.
