Hi I have prepared my samples for western blot but won't be able to run them except after 2 weeks can I store them in -20 after adding SDS and boiling them or will they be ruined?
Maria Attallah, In our laboratory after sample preparation for western blot, we have stored in -30 for more than 6 months. I think 2 weeks is not a big problem at all. Hope for the best.

It's dependent on which types of samples you are using. Almost all samples you can keep them on -20 (short time storage) or -80 (long time storage) after boiling with SDS. Except, if those samples are membrane proteins or if you want to check some post-translational modification (e.g: phosphorylation).
