I am working in luminescence material in glass ceramics doping to rare earth materials and Judd Oflet parameters calculations. I need this calculation. It is possible to propose software that can perform these parameters accurately for all lanthanides?
first, calculate fexp by applying the standard formula. calculate the area of each absorption curve using Origin software.
then calculate fcal, using the value of reduced matrix elements of each transition. follow paper of WT Carnall.
then equate both fexp and fcal, you will get a set of equations (depending upon the number of transitions selected for calculations) with JO parameters and reduced elements on LHS and (Number)*10-20 on RHS.
Try to solve these equations. omega 2, omega 4 and omega 6 are variables in equations.
