Humans are most sophisticated creatures due to presence of human mind. Its still unexplored. Regular researches are there to connect with ability of a electronic robot and human mind. No doubt, we are humans. But we all have differences. The lack of humanity world wide and differences is needs and interests have created the complications. We all are aware of norms and regulations but hardly all are bothered. This mis match creates the disturbances. But the world goes on and will go naturally in its own way. We all need to accept it. A combined step can bring the change.

What a good question. Yes, we all have 'fundamental qualities and characteristics that we all possess as human beings' as you so aptly wrote. I think it might have been from when I was nursing, but I think I try to see things we have in common, not different from others. It would not have been any good having someone come to a clinic or visiting them for a home visit and not seen eye to eye with the person who I was seeing. This did not mean that I agreed with everything the person said, or else I could not have advised the appropriate action, but I tried do it pleasantly and point out their correct thoughts or actions. And as my speciality was bladder and bowel problems, I used to chat generally to start the consultation if I thought the person was a bit embarrassed and usually s / he would feel more at ease.
And, on ResearchGate, I love being able to discuss things with people from all over the world! We all have such a lot in common, don't we?
It is interesting (and scary), that when all these conflicts started I thought (maybe naively) that would stop in some days... However is going on and on and I am not sure when all will finish.
I would like to know how to predict the end of war...

I met a class Xth pass boy in train who looked tense saying in which class he was studying. Further, he said that he got Third division due to illness. I said - no worry do your best in next class. He said happily- I feed bad saying third division to my friends, so I will again give the Tenth exam.
Further, once, I met an adult male in train who was going to his home after spending 20 years in jail. He said- he will open a grocery shop in village and live rest life with his family. He was happy, enthusiastic, confident and thoughtful for his next prospective life.
Thus, Humans are diverse with variation in emotions, reasons and needs. But, one thing which is common is connection and a vision for life. Thus, no one is against anyone. And we all are humans.
