I am an art teacher with a BFA in art and minor in art history.  I have two masters of psychology and am a doctoral candidate in educational psychology.  My thesis is in using all the arts as a classroom management tool.  I believe the culture of the races enables me to use the arts of each culture to enhance learning.  I have used art to study the cultural differences of the people.  I have used art to teach students cultural diversity and understanding for over 20 years.  Art bridges the gap in the understanding between the races and the cultures they represent.  Art is the voice of cultural mediation.  Art illustrates the respect of the culture.  One cannot exist without the other.  Sue & Sue 2008.
