I HAVE WITH ME A RASTER FILE, A DEM FILE AND A MAP.
CAN SOMEONE GIVE ANY IDEA ON HOW TO OVERLAP THESE THREE THINGS TO PROGRESS WITH MY WORK.
ITS URGENT. PLEASE HELP .

Your question is not clear.
Do you want to registration of different map? or overlay and visualize different map at same time? If you want to visualize same coordinated maps at same time you can visualize them with playing transparency and multiply option on layer properties.

They must cover the same or similar area (i.e. must be georeferenced previously) and then only select both files from the catalog and drop them in the layers panel on the left. Then apply some transparency on the properties/display menu with right click :)

In ArcMap, import your DEM. Project your DEM to your desired coordinates and desired spatial resolution using NN, Cubic or Bilinear interpolation. Then create a hillshade using hillshade tool in ArcMap. Give a z-factor you desire. Now, play with display color and transparency. You will get your desired overlap.
