We are looking to western blot for alpha synuclein. After a bit of research and trying to blot for alpha synuclein in N2A cells I have been able to detect alpha-synuclein. Can somebody recommend a cell line that is good for western blotting for alpha synuclein and is mouse? alternatively if you have managed to blot for alpha synuclein in N2A could you please post the following.
1. lysate extraction protocol
2. antibody used
3. transfer time and protocol
4. blotting protocol
