A part of my work is to understand the role of Progesterone receptor B role in a breast cancer related study and I have been looking for methods to differentiate the roles played by the A and the B forms of the receptor. It would be great if I could get names of specific inhibitors/peptide sequences against PR-B because i havent been able to find any. Am I missing something? Also, other alternative protocols to study the same would be of immense help. we were thinking of using stably expressing PR-A or PR-B cell lines in our lab, but unable to proceed with it.
Any help or idea in this regard would be welcome :)

Dear Rafik,
Thank you for the article, I read through it and it looks like the authors have made use of Ishikawa cells stably expressing either PR-A or PR-B. A couple more searches from that point resulted in another paper that uses Bi-inducible MDA-iPRAB system which also has a very nice and interesting method to proving the A and B form roles by using different inducers.I am currently using a PR specific inhibitor -mifepristone and am looking for an inhibitor specific to the individual PR forms. Maybe I should write to the authors and request for the stable cell lines. :)
