Hi. I have one Antibody which have EX430 and EM510 and I have access to Accuri flowcytometer which have blue lase and red laser? now my question is can I used this AB with this flowcytometer or not?
P.s I can use BB515 from BD in Accuri very easy and without problem.

hi,
In principle any high energy (high frequency) light source will cause fluorescence from almost any matter. The emission of this light will be in any low frequency spectra. If one knows where to look at, it can be easily detected. What remains is the question of intensity of the emitted light. If the absorption of the matter under study is not exactly tunned to the incident radiation, one may not get a good emission intensity. Depending upon your need of the work and the usability of the end results, you can explore the things at your disposal. It should work!

Hi Amit, thanks for your reponse. If I understand correct you it means that I can get the reponse but with low intensity and low sensivity as well?
You should not get the expression at all. As the excitation energy is not provided to the BV515 even if the emission spectra can be detected in FITC channel.
