Dear colleagues:
I am trying to perform a tubule formation assay with HMEC-1 cell line. I ´ve tried this assay, using a Geltrex™ LDEV-Free, hESC-Qualified, Reduced Growth Factor Basement Membrane Matrix cat no: A1413302 because I have this one in my lab but I read that most of the people use Geltrex™ LDEV-Free Reduced Growth Factor Basement Membrane Matrix cat no: A1413202. I would like to know if someone have done this assay with the geltrex for hESC or if someone knows if both have the same composition of matrix proteins. The problem that I have is that I can´t see any tubule formation and when I read both datasheets I found that for the geltrex that I used, there isn´t any use for tubule formation in opposite with the geltrex cat no: A1413202 .
