We are conducting a research on how a multinational company behaves in order to design and build a new factory. We are particularly interested in journal articles that explored similar situations, also analysing the role of external stakeholders.
A lot of the traditional business literature examines this topic from perspective of quantitative operations research, logisticis, supply chain management and so on. Strategic management literature on multi-national corporation development often considers external stakeholders within the macro-environmental factors that affect business strategies such as political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal forces.
