Distilled water is slightly acidic - pH being 5.5 to 6 because of CO2 absorption. Moreover it does not contain any minerals. Hence can one use such water for drinking.
I agree with Mr. Baskaran. Also you will low the ions concentrations in your body that is not recommended and depending on the condition dangerous.Besides the matter of bacteria ans pH, there is another question: why to drink this so expensive water? Remember that around 10% of the water become distillated water.
You can drink DI water without problems. Not sure why others indicate otherwise. It just tastes 'flat' as there are no minerals in it to give it flavor. Ions such as K+ and Na+ will be obtained for the body through other sources. Some waters such as Malvern Water contain little dissolved solids and are gasified to provide more entertainment for the palate. Heavy water (D2O) is another story.
