Conventional PCR usually have bigger amplicons than qPCR. If you have a qPCR with a small amplicom like 65-85 bp, it may be difficult to visualize in certains eletrocphoresis.
Be careful because degenerated primers usually do not have good qPCR eficiency.
if the primers works well in qPCR that will also work in general PCR. Remember that the amplification is same with both the PCR the only advantage with qPCR is that you can quantify the targets
