19 November 2016 2 1K Report

I have run a 2x2 between-subjects experiment, with event valence (positive vs. negative) and duration of the event (long vs. short). My dependent variables in this experiment are online support seeking intention on site A and online support seeking intention on site B. The measurements of both dependent variables are adapted from the same scale. In other words, the questions regarding intention on site A and B are identical. The only difference is the sites’ names.

I want to test that when the event is positive, whether the individuals’ online support seeking intention on site A and B would be significantly different.  Can I actually test this by using SPSS? And how can I test so?

Answers, comments and suggestions are much appreciated.
