Can I obtain antigen from L. tarentolae culture and use it for ELISA assays to detect CL and MCL from human blood samples?

I want to standardize an ELISA assay to detect CL (cutaneous leishmaniasis) and MCL (mucocutaneous leishmaniasis) from human blood samples. I have found papers where the antigen is obtained from cultures of L. donovani or L. mexicana. However, I only have L. tarentolae culture and I want to know if the antigen extracted from this culture would be available to use for the ELISA assay I want to do knowing that L. tarentolae is not pathogenic for humans.

There are some antigens expressed in every species of Leishmania. For examle: Lipophosphoglcan (LPG) and Glycoprotein 63 kDa (Gp63) are present in every stages. But both are surface proteins. There also must be secretory antigens in every species.
