I have number of SNPs which are mapped on a genome and some proportion of them are linked (100-10000 bp distance). Can I infer time of admixture event? It seems to me that I saw an example of such analyses ...
I think the software package ALDER (Admixture-induced Linkage Disequilibrium for Evolutionary Relationships) would be useful for such study case. The program can substantially increases the speed of admixture LD analysis and improve the robustness of admixture date inference.
