I am looking into agglomerating small graphite particles to create larger, secondary particles.
Would a solution-based method be possible?
Would that be using surfactants? by controlling pH?
Where should I start...?
Any help is welcome.
Cheers
Thank you for your answer Faryad.
Can you control the agglomerate size, perhaps depending on the PVP concentration, or pH ...?
Will search the literature next.
Thanks
Have you tried adding salt (say above 0.1M)?
Hello.
By salt you mean plain NaCl ...?
Yes, or something with a polyvalent ion such as CaCl2. You may find that varying the salt concentration will affect the aggregate size, too.
I am very intrigued by the data presented in the Supporting Info to corroborate the claims regarding the bulk reaction mechanism, since this data, not yet accessible, opposes several previous...
