Attitudes and behaviors displayed in the workplace can directly affect the atmosphere and productivity within an organization. As an employer, you want to create an environment that's professional and safe. This keeps your employees motivated, wherein they're likely to work hard and successfully complete each assignment. But if your employees begin to develop a negative or bad attitude, this might translate into poor behavior.

Traits vs attitudes is akin to the chicken and the egg - which comes first? Which, if at all, any? That is, can we ever be sure that traits are truly fixed, especially in a world of personality reconstruction and psychoanalysis?
The idea that 'a belief can become you' is indeed a possibility, but this is not necessarily a causal directive. A belief may increase in value dependent on an individual's circumstances and the world around them (consider: terrorist cells, cults// moral panic, social identity theory, etc)... Thus, a belief may deepen and an individual may identify with it to some degree, but perhaps the question you ought to be asking is:
Who is "you"?
Who is the Self, and how does that process of identification take place?
We become that in which we are immersed. Personality traits evolve through exposure.
Situations lead us to behave in a particular way. Would we behave that way if it were not in our personality to do so? How often do we use the phrase "out of character?" I'm inclined to believe that as long as a behaviour can be described as such it isn't a trait. Remove us from the situation and we will revert to usual behaviour.
