Can differential scanning fluorometry be performed to analyse stabilising effect of a hydrophobic substrate on protein using Sypro Orange ?

Sypro Orange binds to hydrophobic residues. Can we use this dye to perform DSF given that our protein stabilisers are hydrophobic molecules themselves.?

Try the measurement with the substrate but without the protein to see if there are any problems.
