Well, Wolfgang! First of all, thank you for your contribution! One example I could give is about biomimicry or biodigital inspiration on Architecture, which can utilize some references from Uexkull concept of Umwelt or also Maturana and Varela concept of Autopoiesis...
Very interesting Gilfranco! I remember an example given in at Cyprus' conference under the auspices of SSA when an author commented the image of huge buildings reflected by the cars' windows. Also, the sensation of collapsing them over you when you are sitting on a bench looking up, or paintings ON the streets (illusions).
@ Gilfranco This is a contribution to another question, YET:
Several times in their articles, Joseph A. Goguen and D. Fox Harrell (look in Google for Information Visualization and Semiotic Morphisms) declares that among major concepts we could include „semiotic spaces to describe systems of related signs, semiotic morfisms to describe representations of signs, and preservation measures to describe the quality of representations.”
A building is a real construction space but, from semiotic point of view could be a living space, cultural space, business space. A Finnish sauna is a timber cube and a semiotic space. People in that space make a lot of effort throwing wood in stove or mostly water on hot stones for attending a sacred lace for a Standard Reference State of tranquility, calm, serenity and harmony,. We are looking for a measure to find out how much the effort to correct Triadic states is needed.
