My thesis analyzed an Olympic education program that is not directly related to formal education, as some authors have suggested. I want to continue investigating this methodology, but now I plan to expand my research to the school environment, specifically looking at children from a school located near the Olympic education program.
I think you should keep studying the Olympic Education. It is an interesting and complementary methodology to advance some students.
On the other hand, I don't think it can be used to measure social inclusion because it doesn't include all students and doesn't include not even an amostral sample.
One will see only the best and most engaged students competing. So, even if a poor student win, it does not represent all the poor students.
I suggest you research to the school environment near to the Olympic education program, evaluate their system, analyze how they communicate the program to students, maybe understand the engagement between students and the program, if they compete with eachother etc.
