Yes, I agree with Bruce; but I think it will be nicer if you can do quantification to specific alkaloid(s) instead of as total alkaloid (with identically authentic standard). I attach a nice publication regarding that matter, Best regards
Is there any cheap and simple alternatives of Atropin that can be used as the standard in quantitative estimation of total alkaloids from plant extracts. please suggest and guide.
