Has anyone used eric primer for fingerprinting of bacterial isolates?

Hi I am trying to do fingerprinting of rhizobial isolates with the help of eric primer..I prepared a master mix..10x buffer-2.5ul dNTP(10mM) 2ul MgCl2(50mM) 1ul Taq(5U) 0.2 Template 3ul and Eric R and F primer 2ul each for 25ul reaction mixture. cycling conditions were 94° -1min, 94°-30sec 52°-1 min 72°-4min *29 cycles 72° - 5 min..but I got negative results,so if anyone has already got positive results with this primer please do respond. thanks
