I think it is too early to do tests in vivo, but an animal model would be very interesting to verify your hypothesis. However, you have to be sure that the medical device is contaminated with biofilm and that the latter also be contaminated by the bacteriophage.

Moreover, the phage could be dangerous for the host, It would be better to check this before.
