Dear Costas, thanks for the links, both of these papers look as if they are on exactly what I was looking for (obviously, I have only had time to take a brief skip through). A review paper based upon these would be great. The submission of the paper is Dec 01 2015. A review paper has a word limit of 2000 words. once I worked on the topic of semantic identification for the individual land cover classes, which are at their nature categories.This topic was partly covered in this paper (ISI journal, but in english is just the abstract and summary at the end, http://geography.cz/sbornik/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2013/01/g04_2012_2pazur_otahel_maretta.pdf). I followed there, and partly modified approaches of semantic distance measurements described in Ahlqvist and Shortridge (2010; http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs10980-009-9435-8), or dimensions of land cover classes described in Comber (2008; https://lra.le.ac.uk/bitstream/2381/4828/1/4a.%20comber_land_use_land_cover_final.pdf). I think nice research in the field of Categories can be done by questionnaire the relevant geographers how they perceive land cover categories. Land cover is very centralistic theme in geography. If you are interested I can prepare such a study (with co-authors) for the special issue.

Thanks for the invitation. I may contribute as well I've send you a message where my thesis is about. Tomorrow I will have to defend it. So it is not on RG yet. What amount of time. I could write a summary/article in about three weeks and have it translated in proper English. If you are interested. Feel free to ask me more about my subject.

So now you know how I feel about it. I am willing to work for it. So what is the deadline and do you think my topic fits? Than you decide if it is good enough and I've just had a good experience.
