I am using the GWR model for crash data analysis. But I need to know the basic steps to build the model and to check the applicability of the model. I have found many papers regarding the use of GWR in their studies, but none of them have disclosed the full process of the model building, like how to select the variable, how to check the correlation, and other things which are pre-stage procedures for model building. So, if anyone can tell me about this or suggest any informative pdf or link, it will be very helpful for me.
