To prepare 0.05% Tween 20, I usually add 10uL of Tween 20 in 20mL DI water.
You can prepare Tween 80 in similar fashion.
1% means 1 mL for 100 mL. So, for 0.05% Tween, add 50 uL of Tween-20stock into your 100 mL of buffer/solution you have made.
This apply to both tween80 and 20
Hi, following the above question. I would like to ask if I need to use 0.02% of Tween 80 in my fungal isolate for inoculation experiment. So do I need to prepare 0.02% by taking 20ul of Tween 80 (stalk solution of Tween 80) and adding 20ul of Tween 80 with 100ml of sterile water. Again can I use water or I will need to use some kind of buffer? Thanks!
