We have developed a fiber optic sensor and we wish to evaluate them for biosensing. Is there any standard antigen-antibody pair for immunoassay, namely direct and sandwich formats.
For example something like: Analyte is human IgE; Primary antibody is anti-mouse IgE; secondary antibody is anti-goat IgE.
To avoid that your biosensor will be limited by the quality of the antibodies, you should use high-affinity antibodies, which have been validated carefully elsewhere. In addition, it would be helpful to read this article before you choose your reagents.
