Dear Dr. Sharma, I am not sure if the 'best' (what is the criteria?)...... but I found the fourth edition of Meerschaert's book a quite interesting and useful compilation. If someone wants to develop optimization, simulation, and forecasting models, then this book can add to that. It opens towards many systems. Kind regards, Imre Horvath
