I found a putative serine site on a protein that is phosphorylated and shows 2 bands. When I treat it with CIP, it shows one band and the serine mutant protein also shows 1 band. So, we found the predictable kinase for that serine and used an inhibitor to find out which kinase is responsible for the phosphorylation. But, unfortunately, none of the inhibitors show the same band as CIP or the serine mutant. They still show two bands. Can any one suggest if there is any array to screen the kinase responsible for this serine phosphorylation?
