Seems like the question is soley related to structure and not to kinetics, as worded. Just because two structures belong to different scaffolds, doesnt mean they cant both be competitive. If you are talking about structures (scaffolds), then just use the terms relevant to the scaffolds. For examples, if the substrate is tryptophan, then refer to them as tryptophan-like inhibitors were as inhibitors based on a beta-carboline scaffold would be beta-carboline like inhibitors. If you want to collectively refer to inhibitors that are structurally unrelated to your substrate, than non-substrate like inhibitors is fine. In all cases though, you need to make sure people understand by what criteria each molecules fits into each category.
