I am looking at the changes that occur in the endometrium before and after uterine artery embolisation (UAE)  in women who have uterine fibroids.

UAE will cause hypoxia to the uterine tissue and the fibroid tissue as soon as it is performed, however, only the fibroids will undergo cellular necrosis that is identified by MRI. I am looking for an immunocytochemistry marker that can detect chronic hypoxia in the endometrial samples. My samples are 6 months apart one prior to UAE and one 6 months after UAE.
