Presentation level 70 dB nHL to elicit P300 in CI versus normal hearing children?

In a comparative study between normal hearing and cochlear-implanted children, if we presented tonal odd-ball paradigm via loudspeaker to elicit P300 auditory evoked potential:

Is the presentation level 70 dB nHL appropriate to both groups?

Could this level activate the AGC within CI causing reduction of the level at the output?

Ola, 70dB HL, or come to mention it SPL or (A) would be a good level to use for P300, loud enough for easy audibility but not too loud as to cause any of the AGCs or compression strategies of the CI to activate
