Dear all, I would like to know the emerging research areas in Pulsed power I have conducted a survey about research work in pulsed power generation and applications of and found the following 1. High energy pulsed power sources with fast rise times for some implosion experiments like z-pinch in Sandia National Laboratories. 2. Electromagnetic launch experiments. (Railgun, Coilgun, Reconnection gun, electric gun etc..) 3. Magnetic pulse forming, expansion, welding, crimping. 4. Pulsed neutron sources and fusion research (Eg. Dense Plasma Focus, Fusors) 5. EMP devices like UWB, single frequency based etc. 6. Wire/foil explosion based shock studies 7. Pulse compression, Marx generators, LTD's for fast rise time currents some of the above topics are old i guess.

It would be helpful, if anyone can tell me the latest areas of pulsed power in which research is going on. Links/info of regarding corresponding University/Researcher would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
