I used ratio analysis to measure the financial performance of profitability, liquidity, and shareholders' funds. For non-financial performance, Kaplan & Norton's Balanced Scorecard was adapted to measure Business Innovation, customer satisfaction, employee welfare, and Internal Control.

The best approach would be to read the relevant literature and then develop your own research plan - no other researcher will certainly do this work for you!

There is a vast amount of liiterature about bank valuation and the various methodologies used to carry it out.

You would need to be clear in your mind about:

(a) The basic theories on this subject as existing in the luterature;

(b) The specific countries you have in mind;

(c) The specific bank classes and institutions you wish to analyse and compare;

(d) The period span you which to cover;

(e) What specific bank accounts and literature and statistics are available foer you to carry out your studies.
