For a sample of minors, my study requires multiple levels of consent before I can grant access to my online survey. My plan is to (post) mail consent letters to a sample of parents and solicit the help of staff volunteers at about 20 schools to act as "site managers." The volunteers would collect the parent signatures, get student signatures, and deliver the link to the survey.
It seems like a daunting task and a shot in the dark to organize a small army of volunteers at a distance and then to hope for the best.
Has anyone used a more efficient plan that could work in this situation? Personally travelling to the schools would be nearly impossible in a reasonable time frame because they are spread out in 12 rural U.S. counties, and the necessary time of day coincides with my work day (I am also a school teacher).
Thank you for your consideration,
Randy
