The assessment of wheat productivity under climate change and land fragmentation is an important issue from the standpoint of agricultural development, exercise in developing countries like Bangladesh, since it gives pertinent information useful for making sound management decisions in resource allocations and for formulating agricultural policies and institutional improvements for wheat.

Available wheat-cropping technologies allow cultivation of hundreds of hectares per working unit in North America. It is obvious that regions affected by land fragmentation with small farms of some hectares cannot afford competition in a globalised market.
