Can anyone please explain how to determine the LC50 value of a certain nanoparticle?

I am going to start an experiment with certain nanoparticles to check their toxicity in a group of catfishes. I am wondering if anyone can explain me how should I check the LC50 value of those nanoparticles in those fishes?

for Tanja, are you sure that there was no difference when studying nanotoxicity Vs bulk size??? something still debated between scientists.
