Can anyone help with an explanation to Apaf-1 detection in response to drug treatment?

I treated the ovarian cancer cell line with drug#1 and with combination of drug#1 and drug#2 . I detected the Apaf-1 in the whole cell lysate. I were able to detect the band in control and after drug#1 treatment and complete disappearance of the band in the cells that treated with both drugs. I repeated the experiment three times and I have the same results. There is no problem in loading control.

I tried to search in literature about this I could not find anything so if any of you have such results or help me to find the explanation?

I used the following antibody Apaf-1 (H-324): SC-8339, the expecting molecular weight is 130 KDa.

Do you think that after the formation of the apoptosome complex, I will not be able to detect this protein?
