I'm modelling a 3D RVE in ABAQUS and using XFEM to study stationary cracks. I'm facing 2 problems with it.
1. The above mentioned error:Loading condition might make maincrack under compression.
2. For a mode 1 crack I'm getting comparable values of K1 and K2 from the contour intergrals (I'm considering the 3rd and 4th contours average)
Please help.

I haven't been able to solve it yet but that warning alone doesn't seem to affect my solution. if you are using the Contour integral method, check the direction of the q vectors once again. If its with XFEM, I don't think I can be of much help!
