I am not very familiar with meshing technologies but I wanted to post this here. I really appreciate if you provide some input:
I am looking for a meshing library/toolkit (open source or commercial) for the purpose of meshing intersecting pipes (pipe may intersect each other with an angle). Triangular or quad (preferable) mesh is to be generated. The library is planned to be integrated into our finite element package so that we are interested in a meshing library with API functions for easy integration.

well, ANSYS has also special set of PIPE finite elements /linear and quads/, with possibility to define specific hydroloading (including various parameters of the flow density, velocity etc/ There is a possibility to model 'a pipe net'. Pipe is in fact a BEAM ELEMENT by its kinematics of deformation with possibility to ADD hydroloading in terms of FLOW inside the PIPE
