We conducted an RCT of prepregnancy lifestyle intervention continued throughput pregnancy where one of the outcomes is fat mass. Fat mass was measured by a bio impedance analysis (using Inbody 770). Since hydration and fat mass is affected as pregnancy continues, adjustment is necessary to estimate the fat mass change.

We want to use the "Advances in assessing body composition during pregnancy by Most et al." article as a reference for this adjustment, but I am having trouble double checking the adjusted fat mass as the values are quite different than the observed fat mass.

I had no luck finding similar interventions that report fat mass as an outcome and I am not sure about the quality of my adjustment.

I would appreciate any help/tip regarding this analysis.
