I used India Ink and 1% CV for Identification CPS layer in oil immersion Light microscopy (100x). My bacteria sample is Acinetobacter baumannii .
You can use India ink or nigrosin as basic stain which stains the background of the slide, cells will appear as refractile objects surrounded by capsule (colorless space).
