I am working on toxicology of trace elements.
[A]The daily intake rate of metals (DIR) was calculated by
the following equation:
DIR =C(metal) .D(food intake)/ B(average weight)
Where C(metal) is Heavy metal concentration in plants
(μg/g).D(food intake) is daily intake of vegetable (kg/person)
B(average weight) is average body weight.
{B}The average adult body weights were considered to be
55.9kg, while average daily vegetable intakes for adults is
considered to be 0.345 kg/person/day, respectively
[C]The true intake using the arithmetic mean according
to Parkhurst (1998) was calculated by multiplying
contaminant level i.e. (yearly intake of rice, cassava and
fruits multiplied by heavy metal contaminant for each of
the food items).
[C] In all the estimated or calculated levels
of lead , cadmium and nickel in the food samples yearly averages
as quoted by various workers were used .
[D] Two types of foods are commonly consumed :
(i) RICE& ORANGES(Primarily Indian diet
(Ii) Manihot spp&Bannana( For other countries)
[E]
(I) First type of diet:
Amount of Pb, Cd and Ni in Rice( mg/Kg)=61.17, 0.0 and 0.0
Pb,Cd and ,Ni In Citrusa(mg/g)= 0.69,0.24 and 0.0
(II)Second type of diet
Amount of Pb, Cd and ,Ni in Manihot spp ( mg/Kg)=0.33,0.10 and 0.24
Amount of Pb, Cd and ,Ni in Bannana ( mg/Kg)=0.46,0.0 and 0.0
[F]
(I) First Type of diet
Total Rice consumption/year=24.8Kg
Suppose Citrus fruit cosumed daily=200g
(II)Again in Second Type of diet
Total Manihot spp consumption/year=214Kg
Suppose Bannana frit cosumed daily=2oog
[H] Daily in take of the metals
(I)First Type of diet
[Pb]==24:8kg/365days x 61 .17 mg/kg
+ 200gx0:69mg/kg =3:53g/kg
[Cd]= 24:8kg/365days x0:0mg/kg+ 200gx0.24mg/kg =0.034g/Kg.
[Ni]= 24:8kg/365days x0:0mg/kg+ 200gx0.0mg/kg =0.0g/Kg.
(II)Second Type of diet
[ Pb ]= 214kg/365days x0:33mg/kg
+200gx0:46mg/kg= 19:42g/kg
[ Cd ]= 214kg/365days x0:10mg/kg
+200x0= o.049g/Kg
[ Ni ]= 214kg/365days x0:30mg/kg
+200 x0 = 0.18g/Kg
Note: These are the values of intake of the metals / day. Multiply by 7 to obtain per week.

You have to know first the allowable daily intake of each metal, so calculate from the average weight of a human and a ration of that food
