I want to covalently immobilize protein inside the polystyrene ELISA plate.
I have used the method described in the article given below by generating the carboxylic group on the surface of polystyrene but didn't get much success. i have also tried to generate nitrate group by treating the surface with 47% HNO3 +53% H2SO4 but it ruined the whole plate.So if anybody can suggest a good method to generate amine, carboxylic or any other group on polystyrene to which i can anchor my protein that would be much helpfull
