I believe that one of the mechanisms in tissue fibrosis is rendering myofibroblast resistant to apoptosis. I would like to test that phenomenon. I am in search of the best possible protocol for that. Any suggestion would be welcome. The combination that i am planning to use is Annexin V/ PI/alpha smooth muscle actin.
Are you doing in vitro studies? If yes, I think it is a good idea to combine Annexin V/ PI and alpha smooth muscle actin. If in vivo, TUNNEL or Ki-67 and alpha smooth muscle actin should be a good method.
Xiaomei.. its invitro studies. Thanks for you suggestion. But i have already done what you have suggested. If you read the write up below the question.. i have said exactly the same that you have suggested. Though you mentioned TUNEL assay which i havent. But i am aware of it.
