I am trying to see what software fits my needs better. I know Ansys can do electromagnetics and solid mechanics and fluid too but how about chemical stuff like simulating batteries and transport phenomena?
Please explain more about what you supposed for the fluid flow regime. Is the flow that you want to simulate through soil medium, laminar or turbulent?
I have no experience in ANSYS, however coupling of transport and electrochemistry can be realized in COMSOL. There are also 0D,1D,2D and 3D battery models already available in COMSOL.
Now, if you plan on calculating transport in the actual microstructures (from modeling or tomography) I highly recommend GeoDict or Palabos (free).
Thank you Lukas, I already know about Comsol but I did not know about GeoDict. Our company already has Ansys for other simulations. However I want to know if there is a package for that in Ansys that we order or not.
