I have seen some materials were an organism tests positive to certain biosurfactant tests and negative to some others. For example, some organisms are positive for oil displacement and negative for blood haemolysis. Some are positive for emulsification index and negative for drop collapse. Is this an anomaly or normal? What do we say to this?
