Can all HLA matched lymphoblastoid cell lines process antigens? And why Priess LCLs can process a lot of antigens including autoantigens? Could anyone tell me how Priess LCL was generated in the first place and the origin. I know that it came from a Dutch lady but other than that I don't know if the lady had any susceptibility or had autoimmune conditions. Did the researchers use larger amount of PBMCs (> 5millions) when Priess LCL was generated? The reason I am asking is LCLs that we have produced (even autologous) cannot process autoantigens. Thank you.
